Employee Spotlight: Meet Devin Graves

Meet Devin Graves – Field Supervisor at Logan Homes!

Devin has been with us at Logan Homes for almost 5 years and loves working here largely do to the people, the fast pace, and the challenges and complexities found in home building. Building has been something Devin was destined to do since childhood. In pre-school, he built such a great log cabin out of Lincoln Logs, the teacher sent a letter home to his mother, saying, “He is going to build houses someday!” Devin started his career in the Building Material Sales Industry, which is how he was first introduced to Logan Homes. After working with us as a trade partner, he eventually joined Team Logan as a Field Supervisor.

Devin and his wife Nicole have three young children, ages 6, 4 and a newborn! Devin is a family man and enjoys being able to spend time with his family and inspire creativity with his children. Devin says, “We try to make everything we do interesting, like letting a simple lunch break with an apple, lead to learning how to grow apples, taking the seeds and embarking on the month long process to just get the seed just to sprout. Now 2 months later, we are 20 apple trees deep and begging people to take the extra!”

When he’s not working, you might find him at church, enjoying the great outdoors, playing guitar or anything with sports!

Devin builds homes in St. James Plantation in Southport, NC and loves watching the sail boat racing club and talking with the residents. One of his favorite projects he’s worked on while at Logan Homes has been to build the St. James Towns neighborhood.

When asked what he would tell someone who is considering building a Logan Home, Devin says, “I care and I understand it’s one of the biggest investments of your life. I have treated every house I have ever built with that respect, and would love the opportunity to build your new home!”

FUN FACT: Devin is also a Logan Homeowner – and found his new home within Logan community, Sparrows Bend!
